The choice to love yourself is yours. It takes a lot to show up for yourself even when you feel insecure or afraid or unworthy, but that’s exactly why you have to show up. Unworthy is exactly how I felt for years. It’s how I felt walking into my first yoga class, how I felt about showing my thighs at the beach, how I felt about clothes shopping and eating and so many things in my life. But that’s the point – to show up and bring all your shit with you and deal with it because you just can’t pretend it isn’t real anymore… and you know you deserve better from yourself. Maybe you come to find it was only as real as you made it. I can say if I never gave myself the chance to practice yoga, the chance to try, I may have never found myself in such a beautiful place. Final hours to get my @codyapp Making Shapes series at the early bird price! This month-long plan is a great opportunity for beginner yogis to spend the necessary time in foundational yoga postures to develop a strong and solid base. It’s also perfect for intermediate yogis who want inversions and arm balances, but who may need more time developing strength and awareness in fundamental shapes. codyapp.com/makingshapes Thank you to everyone who has been logging their workouts on Cody and sharing their experiences so far! It means so much to me! Follow the link in my bio to try the 15-minute preview! Taneisha C: I loved this. It’s been a while since I’ve done a flow and have only been doing restorative poses. So refreshing and the way everything was explained was lovely. I’m so happy. Moving and relaxing. Everything just seems so right. Randi S: Absolutely loved it. This is kind of the first flow I’ve made it all the way through and felt like I was capable of all the things. Lyss V: Love this. I’m thinking about rotating this plan with EveryBody Yoga II just to keep my week changing and new. Yay!
